UNC Play
North Carolina Unique Basketball Play
UNC Basketball Play
Coach Roy Williams of North Carolina University used this basketball play against Washington State in the sweet 16 of the NCAA basketball tournament. He called a timeout with twenty-two seconds remaining in the first half to set the play up. The basketball play uses a unique formation with two players standing side by side about 8 feet above the three point line. UNC has three differnt scoring options with the play including an option for all american Tyler Hansbrough. The play is fairly simple and could be used by most teams. Washington State defended the play with man to man defense but the play should also work well against most zone defenses.
