San Diego Inbounds Basketball Play

San Diego upset UConn in the 2008 NCAA tournament with this sideline out of bounds play.  In my animation of the basketball play I'll show the option San Diego used and also show a couple more options you can add to the play.  This play is very simple and could even be used by many youth basketball teams.

I've also included a video of the actual play so you can see how San Diego used it to defeat the Huskies.  Notice in the video how far out the San Diego player was when he caught the basketball.  This was caused by the double screen being set at the top of the key which forced the player to go very high out to get the pass.  I think the double screen should be set near the foul line area so the player can catch the ball near the top of key for an open three point shot.  I've added some other tips in the animation so I won't go over it here.  Press the play button to begin watching the animated basketball play.
