Kentucky Players Show How To Drive and Kick Out For Open Shots

I Originally made this video just to practice using a new software program. I didn't have any intentions of actually using it on the site. However, I think it provide a nice demonstration of how effective the drive and kick plays work in basketball so I've decided to add it for those who may not understand what’s meant by drive and kick. Which simply means you penetrate the lane area with the basketball which will cause the defense to collapse in to stop the ball. Once the defense collapses you pass out to the open man. This video shows two separate times Kentucky’s basketball team was able to drive and kick the basketball out for open shots.A key concept to to focus on is how the players (shooters) spot up in an open area once the defense collapses on the ball. Notice in the first drive and kick the player spots up in the corner and on the second attempt the player spots up near the top of the key area. They anticipated getting a pass and didn't simply stand and watch the play.
